ON SET

As exciting as making such a powerful film is, we are even more excited by the success of our training program for BIPOC and women who aspire to work in Portland’s film industry. With over 70% of our crew sourced from these under-represented groups, we see this film and its production as a launching pad for building a diverse and welcoming environment for everyone  who wants to be part of a growing and exciting story telling industry in Portland.

“We originally set out with the intention of training 15 - 20 people–we ended up impacting over 30 lives. Just received an email from a make-up artist who is now eligible for the union (IATSE 488) and is filling out paperwork to join.  She received her qualifying days while working on Outdoor School.”

Until lions learn to speak, every story will glorify the hunter.
